Resources for Businesses and Employees impacted by COVID-19

  • Workers and Families First Program

The City will assist employers and fund 5 extra days of sick leave during the COVID-19 outbreak.

  • Deferred Business Taxes for Small Businesses

For businesses with up to $10M in gross receipts, the City is deferring payment of quarterly business taxes due April 30, 2020 nine months to February 2021 with no interest or penalties.

  • Deferred Business Licensing Fee

The City is deferring collection of annual small business license and permit fees that make up the Unified License Bill for three months to June 30, 2020.

Please note the Resiliency Fund to assist microbusinesses with emergency grants of up to $10,000 is closed. The program may reopen if funds become available. Please visit https://oewd.org/covid19 for updates.

The pre-submission video call will provide background on the Project, the Development Team, and required programmatic design and financing information. Attendance is not mandatory, but is highly recommended. Please register through Eventbrite by 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2020; all meeting registrants will receive a link to the presubmission video call.

Transbay:

Maintenance of Essex St Property RFP (bids due Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 4:00pm)

There is no preproposal meeting.  However, please see  visit the SF City Partner Portal for this RFP and view Attachments #1a: Property Map and #1b: Google Maps Aerial View of Essex Hillside Maintenance Area of the RFP, which collectively provide the location of the Essex Hillside site and three locations on public right-of-way to view the property in the field.

Transbay Temp Terminal Site Monitoring RFP (bids due Monday, November 2, 2020 at 4:00pm)

Requested Services include, among others, daily Site Monitoring, daily Site Inspection, Site Maintenance (including removal of debris, trash, graffii), and as-needed repair services are more fully described in SF City Partner Portal as an attachment.
